She is a member of the Portuguese Psychologists' Association and has a degree in Psychology from the I.S.P.A. and in Systemic Coaching, Practitioner and Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Clinical Hypnosis from the I.N.E.X.H. - National Institute of Human Excellence (São Paulo, Brazil).

She is the Co-Founder and Trainer of Development and Leadership Training - DL Lisbon.

Author of the Educational Coaching Project (Regional Government of the Azores) and the Political Coaching Personal Programme.

She is a member of the Steering Committee of the Global Leadership Summit (Chicago, USA) and LeaderImpact Europe.

She is the author of books on leadership, behaviour and education. She began her career as a presenter, journalist and editor (Education and Culture) at RTP, RTP/Açores, TVI and CNL/SIC Notícias. She was a senior manager at Portugal Telecom (Social Responsibility and Training & Development).
